You are invited

Next February 2026, Mark Pierson is retiring from ministry and stepping down as Lead Curator and Pastor at Rhythms of Grace in Auckland NZ.

This occasion also marks the end of Mark and Robyn’s 44-year ministry serving in a wide range of contexts, and his 75th birthday.

You have been identified by Mark and Robyn as someone who may wish to be involved in the celebrations – you are welcome to opt in or out as it suits, but please RSVP either way:

Sunday 15 February 2026

9am // ROG Church Service – speaker Sean du Toit

10.30am// Informal morning tea

11am // Farewell Celebration (more formal)

12.30pm // Light lunch

2/ Attend our ROG church service prior

We will be running a ‘normal’ church service that morning in the same space from 9am-10.30am. You are more than welcome to join us for this ahead of the farewell event (or if you can’t linger for the farewell).

3/ Share your favourite story, memory or gratitude about Mark and/or Robyn’s impact on or involvement in your life. Either add this to the RSVP form (if you’re ready) or email it to Lou Giles by 12 January 2026 for assembly into a bound book – feel free to include a photo or two to support your story or memory.

4/ Finally, we are organising a beautiful thank you gift for Mark and Robyn that will be presented at the farewell. If you would like to contribute to this financially, that would be amazing and deeply appreciated – please pay by bank deposit into the below account with the reference ‘farewell’:

If you can’t attend

That’s sad – but there are still plenty of ways you can be involved:

1/ Send us your favourite story, memory or gratitude about Mark and/or Robyn’s impact on or involvement in your life. Either add this to the RSVP form or email it to Lou Giles by 12 January 2026 date for assembly into a bound book. Feel free to include a photo, poem or artwork in support of your words.

2 You can opt to provide a video message for Mark and Robyn to be shown during the farewell event – they would love that. Please film your 30-60 second video in landscape (not portrait) and either email Phil Johnstone or text it to him on +64 21 232 2914 by 1 February 2025.

3/ You could contribute financially to a beautiful thank you gift we are organising for Mark and Robyn that will be presented at the farewell. That would be amazing and deeply appreciated – please pay by bank deposit into the below account with the reference ‘farewell’:
